Energy specialist strengthens dental sector support with new partnership with the BDIA

The British Dental Industry Association (BDIA), the national trade association representing and supporting suppliers to the dental industry, and North East utilities specialist, Consultiv Utilities have announced a new partnership.

Serving a large member community for over 100 years, the BDIA plays an important role in driving standards for the provision of quality oral care. Through this new partnership, Consultiv Utilities will provide expert utilities and sustainability support to dental manufacturers, distributors, and suppliers – a supply chain that has felt the impact of increasing business overheads and utility costs over recent years.
In supporting dental companies to manage and monitor their energy contracts and consumption, Consultiv Utilities will enable members to access more cost-effective energy contracts, lower emissions and reduce their environmental impact.

Mark Hyde, Commercial Director at the British Dental Industry Association, says,
“We are pleased to be working with Consultiv Utilities to help provide our members with competitive rates in their utilities so that they can focus on their primary objective of delivering quality products, services and technologies to their dental customers.

“Environmental responsibility and sustainability are also important to our members, and we are thrilled to have the expertise of the team at Consultiv Utilities on hand to provide guidance and advice, as well as competitive quotations.”

Consultiv Utilities’ Partnership Engagement Manager, Mark Boyce, comments,
“Many of the organisations supplying products and services into the dental sector can be energy-intensive, so securing competitive contracts and taking steps to make efficiency savings is critical for profitability and long-term sustainability. We’re excited to be able to play a role in supporting BDIA members to manage their overheads and minimise their carbon emissions.”
