About us
First founded in 2017, Consultiv now employs more than 170 staff at our Hebburn HQ. With a mission to be recognised for people, partnerships and performance, our tech driven utilities business has continuously invested heavily in our working culture, with a clear focus on both customer service and staff wellbeing.
Special award win
In light of these exceptional efforts to “positively impact all aspects of our employees’ health”, we have also received the Best Companies annual ‘Special Award for Wellbeing’ in the mid-size category. This accolade reflects our substantial investment in mental health resources and flexible working arrangements, originally introduced to acknowledge the impact of the pandemic on staff.
The national awards, based on employee surveys, also ranked Consultiv Utilities as the UK’s third best mid-sized employer. This was thanks to our vibrant work culture built on a philosophy of continuous learning, inclusivity and supportive leadership.

Our plans for growth
Offering a range of utilities services including electricity, gas, water, waste and communications, we have ambitious plans for growth in the coming years, looking to increase market share. In 2025, we’re also looking to increase our headcount by as many as 30 staff to meet these targets.
This process will begin with two key staff intakes starting from 6th January 2025. In addition to those with existing experience in the energy market, we are recruiting the next generation of energy professionals. Our team are encouraging those without experience to enrol via the business’s highly respected Academy programme.
