The of a role of an Energy Consultant revolves around stimulating business development through 360 prospecting new customers and managing your own existing clientele. 18 months of experience in business-to-business sales within the utilities industry is desirable, although not exclusive. A high degree of competence in communication, persuasion, and objective handling is crucial.
- Identifying, recruiting, and developing new business partners.
- Cold calling businesses to establish initial contact and generate leads.
- Travelling across the country to meet with potential and existing partners, including overnight stays as required.
- Attending industry events to network and promote Consultiv Utilities.
- Preparing and measuring key KPIs to track performance and progress.
- Leading ad-hoc projects to drive revenue and growth.
- Providing strong and proactive team leadership and direction.
- Ensuring clear communication of goals, expectations, and performance requirements.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with partners.
- Managing your time effectively, being organised and methodical.
- Making sound decisions and demonstrating excellent organisational skills.
